Permitted Driving Lessons for Emergency Workers
On the 2nd February 2021 the DVSA announced the emergency testing scheme for lockdown 3.0. A limited number of theory tests and driving tests have become available. Driving lessons can take place for emergency workers who have a confirmed emergency driving booking from the DVSA.
This service is only available to:
- NHS health and social care workers
- the emergency services
- local councils
To be eligible, the candidate must both:
- need to drive as part of their job
- respond to 'threats to life' as part of their job
An applicant cannot apply for the theory or driving test themselves and their employer must request the booking with the DVSA. Please contact me directly to check my availability to see if I can help you with an emergency test booking. Be aware that the test booking maybe short notice and you will need to be flexible and ready to undertake training immediately. The safety of my customers and family is of paramount importance to me and please take the time to review my COVID-19 Safeguarding Terms and Conditions page, which are in addition to my standard training terms and conditions.
